Problem Description

Our accounting team spends 3-4 hours daily manually entering invoice data from PDFs into our accounting system. We receive about 50-100 invoices per day from various suppliers, each in different formats. This is incredibly time-consuming and prone to human error. We've tried using templates but suppliers don't follow them. The tedious nature of this work is causing burnout in our team.

Current Workaround

We've hired an additional part-time staff member just to handle invoice entry, but it's expensive and doesn't solve the error problem.

Same here. The worst part is the constant context switching: open PDF, find supplier name, hunt for totals, then retype it all into the system. By the end of the day it feels like the work was just copying and pasting, not accounting.

We also get invoices in every format imaginable. Even when you build a template, suppliers ignore it or send a 'new version' without warning. It is exhausting because mistakes feel inevitable when you are doing repetitive data entry for hours.

We are dealing with the same invoice entry grind. What gets me is how hard it is to stay focused when every supplier PDF looks different, so you are constantly double-checking basics you should not need to question.
