Problem Description

Our team does code reviews by emailing patches back and forth. Comments and suggestions get buried in long email threads, and it's hard to track what's been addressed and what hasn't. Sometimes multiple people give conflicting feedback and the developer doesn't know which to follow. By the time the code is ready to merge, we've lost track of half the discussion.

Current Workaround

Started using a shared Google Doc to track review comments, but it's clunky and people still default to email.

Code review over email is a nightmare. You end up searching through threads trying to find the 'latest' patch, and the feedback is spread across replies. Half the time you are not even sure which comments still apply to the current version.

The conflicting feedback point is real. One person says 'simplify it', another says 'make it more flexible', and the developer ends up trying to please everyone with no clear direction. It is stressful and slows everything down.
