Problem Description

QA finds bugs and logs them, but the descriptions are often vague like 'login doesn't work' without steps to reproduce, browser info, or screenshots. Developers waste hours trying to reproduce issues that may or may not exist. Back-and-forth clarification delays fixes. Some bugs can't be fixed at all because we can never reproduce them.

Current Workaround

Created a bug report template but team members often skip fields or write 'see above' instead of proper details.

The back-and-forth is the killer. A vague report turns into a long chat thread asking for details, and by the time you finally get clarity, the person who saw the bug has moved on to something else. It slows fixes and increases frustration on both sides.

We get bug reports like 'it is broken' with no steps, no browser, no screenshot. It sounds small, but it wastes so much developer time and creates friction between QA and dev because everyone feels the other side is not doing their job.

We get the same vague bug tickets and it drains momentum. You start a task thinking it will be a quick fix, then you realize you cannot even reproduce it, and the whole day becomes asking questions instead of building.
